Day 1: Tue 18 Apr 23 - Home to Mundubbera, 192km
20 deg C at home to 30 deg C at Mundubbera, fine and sunny the while day After a surprisingly decent sleep, we were on the road at 8:30am. There was a lot of traffic on the road between Howard and Childers, however, all were well behaved. Greg thinks these vanilla slices are the best, however, Wendy still rates the ones we had at Ballarat as the best. We didn't take a wander around town as we have seen it a number of times before. Next stop was at Gayndah for a wander. Whilst we had done Gayndah in 2019, there were still some things that were new to us, such as the Gayndah Art Gallery that was originally a Convent. It is a lovely old building that has been refurbished beautifully. There was not a great deal of art on display but most of it was pretty good stuff, so pleased we made the effort. Final stop was at Mundubbera just before 1pm. We wanted to stay at the donation camp ...
